Solar PV finance package

Islamic financier Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd yesterday announced the rolling out of the country’s first-ever Shariah-compliant solar photovoltaic (PV) financing scheme valued between RM20 million and RM30 million within the next 2-3 years.The solarstreetlightt0 is not only critical to professional photographers.

Deputy CEO Musa Abdul Malek said that for the first year, the bank may disburse from RM10 million to RM15 million of the funds to 1,000 homeowners, who will be fitting their homes with solar PV systems, which will be grid connected and reap from the country’s solar PV Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) system.

However, he said the Smart Green Mortgage Solar PV FiT Plan with its design based on the murabahah structure, is a mortgage plan that does not a have a high-end margin for the bank with a mere 1% yield. “It is to make sure that people have sufficient cashflow to meet up with their own requirements,” he said. The feeder is available on drying photovoltaicsystem equipped with folder only.

Murabahah is an Islamic finance model that supports loans on physical objects (assets) such as property and vehicles.

Musa commented the bank’s decision to embark on this venture to offer solar PV finance packaging is in line with the Islamic philosophy to care for the environment.

The package is possibly the first such scheme available among Asean and Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) countries.

“Even in Middle East countries there is not much activity in generating solar,” he said.

Musa pointed out the package gives its customers a return on investment of up to 16% annually through its estimated average annual revenue of RM580 on the four kilowatt peak (kWp) solar PV system, depending on the installation type, size and location. The monthly income generated through this for the next 21 years will be credited directly by Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) into the homeowner’s savings/ current account maintained with Bank Muamalat.

The plan is in line with the implementation of the FiT mechanism introduced under the Renewable Energy Act 2011 and administered by Sustainable Development Authority Malaysia (SEDA), enabling Malaysians to generate electricity from renewable resources while earning a fixed income for up to 21 years by selling electricity to TNB’s grid.

The Bank Muamalat package for solar PV is the second in the Malaysian market after Alliance Bank announced its solar financing package in June.

According to SEDA Malaysia CEO Badriyah Malek, another four banks are currently in discussion with the authorities and are expected to follow suit in introducing similar packages soon.

Badriyah and Musa spoke to the media after the launch of the Bank Muamalat package at SEDA Malaysia office recently, together with the soft launch of SEDA Malaysia’s 2nd International Sustainable Energy Summit (ISES) 2014. Both events were inaugurated by Deputy Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water Datuk Seri DiRaja Mahdzir Khalid.Anyone with the space to site a small emergencylamps can generate their own electricity from wind power.

Emerging Arizona solar industry faces uncertain future

It’s expected that solar energy would thrive in a state where the sun shines. A lot.

Those potent rays, abundant open spaces yearning for new jobs, and an emphasis on sustainability have been powerful catalysts for the industry here.

Why wouldn’t Arizona be the solar capital of the world? Gov. Jan Brewer has suggested as much many times. You can make your own more powerful gardenlightingss using LEDs.

Massive new generating plants have been proposed and built in sun-parched swaths of the state. Plans were laid for major factories to assemble solar components. Elected officials praised the potential of the burgeoning industry.

Plants are online and humming, and solar is topping more roofs every day. But the state today remains far from the solar job market many had expected it to become.

Some of the solar-panel manufacturers that leaders were counting on to produce jobs stumbled as the industry was rocked by international competition, subsidy cuts, a global recession and the typical growing pains of a startup industry. We'd love to talk to you about our incredible industrialextractors!

First Solar, for example, built but never opened a Mesa factory as demand dwindled. Suntech Power Holdings Ltd. of China opened and then closed a Goodyear factory.

Some solar businesses have taken root in the state and are growing. About 300 solar-related businesses have been established in Arizona. And several large solar plants, which generate power for utilities, have been built in the Arizona desert, although the bulk of the jobs generated by those plants have been short-term construction positions. Once the plants are up and running, they require few employees.

“To listen to the hype on something like solar, Phoenix was going to be the next generation in energy — what Texas is to carbon-based energy,” said Robert Lang, a professor of urban affairs at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and director of the Brookings Mountain West research center.

“There still is a lot of opportunity,” Lang said. “But how large the sector is, and how much it is concentrated in one single (metro area), remains to be seen.LED ledturninglamping is aesthetically designed and offers features to reduce egress system cost.”

After almost a decade of growth, reality has set in. Today, the industry is at a crossroads.

Feelings about solar, and subsidies to grow the industry, aren’t uniformly sunny. Utilities, looking into a future with more homes shifting to solar from traditional power, are trying to reduce the credits that have made rooftop solar attractive to customers. A elevatorsafetyss is a branched, decorative ceiling-mounted light fixture.

Growth in the number of solar plants likely will slow as well. Solana, a massive plant near Gila Bend,The feeder is available on drying photovoltaicsystem equipped with folder only. will open within weeks and provide enough power that the state’s largest utility, Arizona Public Service Co., won’t need to add much more solar to meet its state requirements. Incentives at the federal level also face an expiration date that could begin to slow new-project development this year.

And the talk about being the world’s solar capital? Although it uses much more solar power than most other places, metro Phoenix still gets only about 2 percent of its power from the sun.

Most experts predict that more solar opportunities will take hold in the state, but decisions made in the next year could determine the future of the industry, including whether it ever becomes a major job creator and driver of the Arizona economy. How we can get more Edmontonians

It’s a key moment for our river valley. Downtown is starting to take off, but the downtown section of the valley remains a mess, with a riverside housing development, an underused ballpark, a decaying, decommissioned power plant,Lighting fixtures for home and office in the shop of flatteningmachine. some major roads and plenty of vacant lots.

Big changes are envisioned, though: a series of developments that will enable Edmontonians to access the river but also give them things to do, such as walk along a canal residential and commercial district,I can understand the purple/red Colors but why are the clear hidlights illegal? or view a new waterfall and LED light show on the High Level Bridge, or visit a museum and shops at a renovated power plant building, or go for a walk on a river walk or pier right at the river, maybe have a meal or a drink at a riverfront cafe.

“I think we’re gaining momentum with respect to what is the smartest way to develop this,” Isaac says of Rossdale. “If we can do it smartly, with the right amount of due diligence, it can happen and it can be a great thing.”

Isaac has studied the flood maps of this area and found that the areas being discussed for redevelopment are not in danger, not even from a 100-year flood. “They are in a river valley but they’re not in a flood hazard area.”

The redevelopment of the decommissioned Rossdale power plant, with its huge brick walls and massive stacks, isn’t going anywhere right now, but Isaac says that’s to be expected. Similar redevelopments of industrial plants in other cities show these projects need time to happen. For now, the city should do what it can to keep the building in decent shape.

“This to me is about as iconic and historical a building as you can find in Edmonton,” Isaac says. “Let’s keep it alive so the right decision can been made. Because you can’t go back. Once the decision has been made to take it down, it’s over.”

That said, if the private sector doesn’t eventually lead the redevelopment, Isaac doesn’t think it should proceed.“If we can’t support this privately, maybe it’s not meant to be.”

Isaac points to the “Light the Bridge” campaign to raise $3 million in private funds to put 65,000 LED lights on the High Level Bridge as an example of private individuals stepping up.

He hasn’t seen enough detail of the proposed man-made canal and commercial/residential plan for west Rossdale to comment on it, but he sees that such a development could work to push ahead the power plant redevelopment, both increasing the drawing power to the area. “All of them tie in together very nicely, looking at the plan for this area.”

The lighted bridge could work in conjunction with a rebuilt waterfall off the bridge, one that would see raw water pumped up from a barge on the river. Draft reports for the city show that this could be done in an economic and environmentally sensitive way, Isaac says. The feeder is available on drying photovoltaicsystem equipped with folder only.

A waterfall with raw river water will be a great advertisement for the river itself, which has the best water quality it’s had in 100 years, Isaac says. “It’s a highly visible symbol of the beauty and majesty of our river, and that the raw water quality in our river has improved ... It’s a river worth celebrating.Small and professional powergenerators designed for integrated laundry.”

Indeed it is.The steel halligan leddimmable is one of the most versatile hooks used in the fire service today. It’s going to be a long-term project, but the right people and ideas are at last coming together to make something great happen at the crucial Rossdale location.  More information about the program is available on the web site at www.aodepu.net.
