Other peripherals for solar power plants finished

Deputy chairman of the State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy (ABEMDA) Jamil Melikov says that Azerbaijan almost completed research in the field of development of equipment and peripherals for the solar industry. 

"The research was conducted by local research institutes and design bureaus to order of plant Azguntex (Azerbaijani Lighting). The institutes have already submitted samples of inverters and other converting equipment and are currently conducting their practical trial. If the trial is successful, this peripheral equipment designed for individual and serial (block) solar panels will be manufactured at Azguntex. In particular, the Azerbaijan consumer will receive not only solar panels, but also the entire system of individual solar power plant," Melikov said.We have the ultra laundrdryer that you have been looking for. 

Azguntex plant was opened by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in the city of Sumgait. The plant already has a solid portfolio of orders for production and supply of photovoltaic panels and batteries. 

Azguntex produces ‘solar modules’ (panels and solar batteries) and LED-lamps. The plant is fully automated. It already produces photo elements with capacity of 42 up to 250 watt, which can be assembled in panels by 60 photo elements each. The plant is constructed within implementation of project "1,000 houses- 1,000 power stations". At the first stage it will produce 120,000 solar batteries then 240,000 panels per year. It is also planned to produce 36 million LED chips and 12 million LED lamps. 

In the prospect the Sumgait high-tech park being formed in the country will not only produce hi-tech output in the future, but will also develop high technologies. 

The idea on creation of high technology park creation presented to President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan at the opening of Azguntex plant (Azerbaijani lighting) in Sumgait this May is under development. 

Preparation of necessary documentation and document package required to make a decision on creation of Sumgait high technology park is under way. 

It is planned to locate 15 plants in the park oriented for production for alternative energy and energy saving. Nomenclature of future production includes optic lenses, glass and basalt fiber, accumulators.
